Introduction

​Were you to ask most any Christian as to how The Holy Spirit works, you would be met with a blank stare. In fact, he or she would not know what you were talking about. That means most Christians simply do not know how The Holy Spirit works, which means that their experience with Him is what one might call a hit and miss situation. As a believer, it is imperative that you know how The Holy Spirit works – what He does and how He does it. Of the three Members of The Godhead, The Holy Spirit is the One with Whom we do business, so to speak. To be sure, He most definitely will work for us and with us to a much greater extent if we learn a few things about Him and, above all, how He works within our hearts and lives. 



Revelation

The Lord gave me the answer to this question by revelation. It was most remarkable. And that which He gave to me is what I hope to relate to you in this volume. To be sure, it didn't come quickly, and it didn't come easily, but, thank The Lord, it did come. I need help every day of my life and during every hour of the day. So do you. I would pray that this volume will give you the answers to some questions and, above all, that you will see a great increase of the working and moving of The Holy Spirit within your heart and life. That is, if you believe that which we will relate to you. It's not at all difficult to get a believer to believe something wrong. Now, that sounds like an oxymoron, doesn't it? In reality, it is, but it happens to be the truth. Often times it is difficult to get Christians to accept that which is truly of The Lord. I have found out that if I will ask The Lord to lead me in the direction that I ought to go and help me not to believe that which is false – that's a prayer He will answer. And that's a prayer every believer ought to pray. As well, I would strongly desire that The Lord would help me to receive this to my heart – relating to Him often that which is right, thiswhich is Scriptural – and to function accordingly. Once again, The Lord will answer that prayer. As you go through this volume, I would pray it would be with a prayer in your heart – that The Lord would open to you the many truths contained therein. Once again, this is something He will do. If I am able to help you recognize the moving and operation of The Holy Spirit and the working of The Holy Spirit within hearts and lives – especially your own – then our labor in putting this volume together will have been well worth the effort. Thank you for being interested enough to see for yourself. 


I am rejoicing night and day

As I found the pilgrim way,

For the hand of God in all my life I see;

And the reason for my bliss,

Yes, the secret all is this:

That The Comforter abides with me. 


Once my heart was full of sin,

Once I had no peace within,

Till I heard how Jesus died upon the tree;

Then, I fell down at His feet,

And there came a peace so sweet

Now, The Comforter abides with me.


He is with me everywhere,

And He knows my every care;

I'm as happy as  a bird and just as free;

For, The Spirit has control;

Jesus satisfies my soul,

Since The Comforter abides with me.


There's no thirsting for the things

Of the world,  they've taken wings;

Long ago, I gave them up, and instantly

All my night was turned to day

All my burdens rolled away;

Now, The Comforter abides with me. 


He abides, He abides;

 Hallelujah, He abides with me!

I am rejoicing night and day

As I walk the narrow way,

For The Comforter abides with me.
